July GBOMB

Good California and the beach. I stubbornly insisted on a beach trip during our California trip over the 4th of July weekend. There was a lot of noise in my ear about traffic and crowds. But we went to Crystal Cove, arriving about 9am, and it wasn't bad AT ALL. The hike down and back up with a three year old whose flip flops kept sliding off was a little challenging. We stopped in Fillmore for dinner at Krispy Krunchy Chicken. We stayed there longer than I'd have liked. We got to Mesquite at about 11pm Utah time, which stunk. AJ was an absolute mess--totally incoherent and uncooperative.  July 3 We ate breakfast at the buffet at Virgin River and were really happy with it! We drove from Mesquite to Glendora with a stop in Baker. AJ took a super long car nap since he didn't sleep all night. We got to Glendora around 2pm. We went to d...
