Janae Says...

Good Skip-level discussion. I met with the Chief HR Officer at work which happens about twice a year. It was such a good meeting with lots of reassurance and positive feedback. It came at a time when I was feeling pretty down, too.  Autumn. It's so fun when the weather starts cooling down. It feels like it happens overnight. We decorated on the last Saturday of September, and AJ was so excited. We visited Spirit Halloween, and AJ was living his best life. We went to Cornbelly's during opening week. It's just such a fun season.  Gym PRs. Hitting a new deadlift PR on 9/26 was so exciting. Matching my best squat without peeing and having it be easier was also exciting. Bench is slowly feeling stronger as well.  AJ Learning. AJ started Waterford Upstart in September, and I ordered another Ms. Debbie's reading box because he loved the first one and wanted to keep doing them. He really enjoys both, and it makes me so happy. I hope I can always keep that love for learning goin...

9/1 I was up early for the gym. Work was fine; I kept busy. I picked up AJ but had to clean him up at daycare since he pooped his pants. More tummy problems ensued as he screamed in the car on the way home. He screamed in pain on the toilet for quite a long time. By 6:45, he was good for the evening. I helped with bath and bed time, then went on a walk at 8 with a neighbor/ministering sister from church. I learned a lot about her and really enjoyed the chat. Plus it was a lovely evening outside. I had a hard day emotionally and talked to Matthew in bed.  9/2 I slept in and did some walks at work. I had a skip-level meeting with our Chief HR Officer that went really well. Matthew picked up AJ. I got home, changed my shoes, made a shake, and went to do my first Amazon Flex delivery. I waited until about 6:30 before they had no routes for me, so I was paid to sit there and go home an hour early. I did a Ms. Debbie's activity with AJ. We did bed time, watched Ted Lasso, and talked....
